Week 8 EOC: Creative Content

The creativity that I will be expressing for my product on this final project is going to be a magazine ad for my pizza. I will be taking photo shoots of my hand made pizza in various places/forms, making it look the most desirable to the customers that I am looking to attract. I will also be making a front cover for a magazine that my food product will be highlighted in for its giving back to the community and great taste. "The aim of marketing to create value for customers and to capture value from customers in return."-Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation; pg3. I am going to take a very basic yet modern approach to my creativity and marketing for this product. It will be sleek, simple, yet will make you want to try this pizza. Will the great taste and satisfaction that you are helping out the Philippians  You will want to come back for another pizza.

Week 6 EOC: Me x Three

Three products that I stay loyal too all focus around my career as a freelance photographer, graphic designer, director and music blogger. Without any of the items it would be impossible to continue doing what I do as my career. The three category's are computer, camera and computer software. When you break it down I will only buy Apple, Canon and Adobe products with every purchase I make in these categories I refuse to step out of my comfort zone and go to a different company. I have been a loyal customer of these for years.

I want to first talk about Canon as a company that I have always been loyal too. There are numerous camera companies that I could have gone with but I decided that they applied to me the most. With everything that they come out with and they keep up with everything so I have the Canon 5D.

The next thing I couldn't do without and I am also a very loyal customer of is Apple, I feel like they are the best computer company in the world. The software that they come with and the processing speed they continue to come up with is perfect for someone in my career field.

The next thing that all photographer or anyone that is creative would have to be Adobe, they are consonantly changing the world and how people do thing. I personally love there programs and couldn't live without it, whenever a new series comes out I am the first to have it and will always upgrade.

Week 5 EOC: Social Networks and Job Hunting

Social Networks play a huge role into a business anywhere from looking up information on potential employees, finding potential employees, to even help spread the word on the business itself. I have to agree with businesses looking up potential clients on the world wide web. If you want to have a professional job and looking to start a career with your life you should have no problem with what pop's up when someone types your name into the search bar. Companies what employees that can conduct themselves in a professional manner and if you are on Facebook, twitter, instagram whatever it is from talking slang, using profanity, posting inappropriate pictures these companies will not want you representing them. As a freelance photographer, graphic designer and creative director, when I have clients come to me that I don't know I look them up and see who they are as a person and if it is someone that I want representing my work or if I would be embarrassed to work with them.  Now to talk about using social media to post job opportunists, I like it and think it is the best way. I might be a little bias as a freelance worker because social media is eight five percent how I acquire my clients.  “Others note that while LinkedIn contains a more comprehensive résumé database, candidates tend to value referrals from their connections on Facebook more.”  of course companies prefer Facebook over LinkedIn, we all know LinkedIn is a professional website used for finding jobs. We don't talk with friends on there or post our locations or status updates on what we had for breakfast. These companies want to find dirty on you if at all possible.

Week 3 EOC: Making Money for Good

Looking around trying to find companies that donate some of there proceeds to charity was a lot easier that I imagined it would be.There are a lot of companies nowadays that are doing good and trying to put their money into something that can make a difference in the world. I found a really great company where their purpose is to help promote literacy across the word, is "Better World Books". They support book drives and collects used books and textbooks through over 1,800 college campuses and partnerships with over 2,000 libraries nationwide. So far, the company has converted more than 114 million books into over $15 million in funding for literacy and education. http://www.betterworldbooks.com/

Week 2 EOC: Boston Consulting Group - Video Games

The Boston Consulting Group has come up with a formula to base the success of a franchise. These are Cash Cows (high share and low growth), Stars (high share and high growth), Question Marks (low share and high growth) and Dogs (low share and low growth). We are going to discuss video games it is one the biggest trends in entertainment right now. The current consoles out right now are Sony's PlayStation 3, Nintendo's Wii, Microsoft's Xbox 360, PC Games and Android and ISO. I feel like the Xbox and the PlayStation are the star's because almost every household in america has at least one of these hooked up to their TV. I think the dog here is  Nintendo's Wii, they haven't released anything new that is a "wow" factor and they are cheaper then everything else

BCG Analysis:

Playstation 3 - Cash Cow

Wii - Dog

Xbox 360 - Cash Cow

PC Games - Dog

ISO iPhone, Android, Tablet - Dog

Jarrett Leger is a self taught photographer and director. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Living out in rural Nebraska for three years finally returning home,  Jarrett has always sought to capture the art he saw in the world, choosing to use his natural talents and visions to create timeless moments through unique concepts and photography.  Since 2006 Jarrett has designed, maintained and operated his personal music blog which was relaunched as JarrettLeger.com and continues to gain notoriety and add to his successful career as one of the most exclusive up and still rising photographers in the entertainment and sports industry.  Jarrett's graphic design work is also heavily desired by those seeking to have quality designs and logos for their own endeavors that will leave an impact.
Jarrett  is currently attending The Art Institute Of Las Vegas and is in route to obtain his bachelors degree in photography although after one glance at his portfolio it is apparent he has already mastered many aspects of his craft. It doesn't get any better than Leger

Week 1 EOC: Great Costumer Service

Great costumer service is something that we should all experience everyday. However some business struggle and fail to bring that to us on a continues bases. A few weeks ago I experienced some amazing customer service care from Karmaloop.com. I do all of my clothes shopping with them and I have spent thousands of dollars. Three weeks ago I stocked up on all my winter clothes spending little over then four hundred and fifty dollars. That huge of a order it came with free three to four day shipping, two weeks later I still haven't received my order. Now I wasn't that worried about it because it is still seventy degrees outside and have no plan on wearing hoodies and or crewnecks anytime soon. I then received a call from them saying that they were very sorry for the delay and that they have finally shipped out my order and that they have placed some extra items in it. When I finally received my package they placed around two hundred dollars worth of extra items. I never once complained to them or sent them a email asking about my order. They went out of their way to make sure that I wasn't unhappy without even checking if I was, the delay wasn't going to stop me from shopping with them. However because of what they did I will continue to recommend them to friends and family.
